A few more tips before you start:
Keep all your materials in one spot (like the bag my kits come in). It can get messy fast if you don't keep it all together.
Never get out an entire deck of flash cards. Just use a few that you have taught or your little one will make it rain with them.
Keep your parent's guide in front of you until you feel like it is coming naturally to you. As a teacher, I still keep printed-out routines and teachers' editions close by. You don't have to memorize everything!
